CELEBRITIES ARE TRASH ???

ree

Celebrities are skin and bones

As people, regular people (and I'm assuming that at one point in your life you must have been fortunate enough to experience a celebrity or at the very least hear of them) you have probably, consciously or not, thought them to be better than yourself. The feeling, the tingling sensation you get when you meet one, trying to reconcile the fact that the image you've been fed with on glowing boxes of technology is actually, genuinely and sincerely real life flesh and bones just like you and I, dear reader. Now I do believe the word "celebrity" generally means a famous person usually in entertainment or sports. By this it means folks from Tony Starks to Beyonce to Neymar, famous people. People, popular or widely known for one attribute, skill or the other, are blessed and cursed with the relentless scrutinizing gaze of society. Now if you know anything about society or the world in a much broader scale, you would know about the restrictions and criticisms that come along with it. The fact is society is made of people, people are humans, thinking, entrepreneurial, cunning creatures who have opinions and like to have them. Again, that is a good thing, as I mentioned in my previous post, but one cannot do well to have good things without the bad things too.

You know the saying "you can't eat your cake and have it"? I think I only truly discovered the meaning for myself a year ago, before then I had just thought folks to be silly for making a failed attempt at wisdom. Apparently, and this my personal translation, it means one cannot have only the good stuff alone. Sacrifices must be made, and before you go off to say I've told you to get good things by doing bad, let me stop you right there. No, you must never do that, rather, it only means that along with happiness one must learn to experience sadness, along with interest, boredom, along with pleasure, suffering, along with uncertainty, certainty. In this beautifully random world we live in, it is impossible and definitely unhealthy to create unrealistic ideas about how we are meant to live our lives. One simply cannot tune out pain, fear, anger, hurt from life entirely and still expect to live a full life. These negative feelings must be acknowledged and felt, but I repeat, do not confuse what I intend to relate to you. You will have the bad feelings but do not seek them out and do not dwell.

Why? Well this is because they are... bad feelings and they would swallow you whole if caution is not heeded. Rather than trying to ignore them and pretend they do not exist, acknowledge them and overcome them, with help of course, but try over and over and over again. Overcoming them won't be instateneous and it most definitely will not be easy, it will be waking up and making the choice every single day of your life to choose the light. In summary, balance is vital, good with bad, day with night, light with dark, yin and yang. You will learn that we are not perfect and we will never ever be, so do not strive for perfection when you will only perfect your way into the opposite. Who would believe I took this long to elaborate why it takes both sun and rain to grow a flower, but back to the topic at hand. Celebrities...

They have been blessed and cursed with attention, and because you, dear reader, are learned enough, I believe, to know your fair share about them and what they go through due to society, unless of course you've been living under a rock for the better part of your life then it will accepted as normal for you not to know. Riding on your knowledge and good sense, I would even go as far as to say that I am sure you are quite aware that though some individuals of the ignorant sort would argue that because celebrities make their living through the attention of society, and so they should face the flame of harsh judgement, you in fact feel differently. Hence, I am certain that being the wise person that you are in simply visiting my humble site, you would not view this as an excuse to be less than humane, you would for sure recognize that before celebrities, they are humans first and foremost. Human beings like you and I with flesh and bones and a heart with feelings, who bleed when we are cut physically, emotionally and mentally. Basically, though every person is unique, possessing different stories, different personalities and different backgrounds, and though you may believe them to be better off than yourself, it does not automatically give you the right to point fingers at their character. In fact, much more than that, you should not even consider removing a speck you are not certain is really even there with the log in yours.

Besides the virtue that we must always attempt to take the high road regardless of how a person acts in response, we must also always recall that we do not and will never know everything, especially about celebrities that supposedly put their lives out there. The truth is, you only ever know what you have been told, you only ever see what has been shown and unless you are a ghost, I think it's safe to say you do not live inside this celebrity, you do not know their full stories on any scandal or controversy. Thus, you will never truly be a fair judge of their actions so do not judge because you do not know why they are as they are, why they do what they do, despite the fame and glory, they are mere mortals like yourself. Let us care, let us not criticize people we know nothing of, let us not take out our frustrations on people we think can handle it simply because they are popular. It is not easy to be vulnerable especially in front strangers so let us remove all negativity and believe that Jimin really is a sweetheart in real life.
